The Archaeological Site was unearthed in 2010 in the center of Lucca during renovations in basement rooms of a historic building. Inside a unique space, it is possible to admire the evolution of the construction techniques occurred in 2000 years of history: walls and Roman finds, dated to the first-century b.C but also objects and constructions from Middle age and Renaissance.
Inside the site of the Domus, many activities are organized in contact with the archaeological remains with the aim of making known the history of peoples through its testimonies: meetings, experimental exercises and guided tours, with the help of suitable tools to interest and involve visitors, both adults and children.
